People are against the health care reform law because of all the Republican lies about death panels, rationing, and "complete government takeover". They scared people. Before the lies, the people supported reform, and they elected Obama to make the changes. TruthTeller

I personally respect President Obama for his loyalty. Chafee came under a lot of heat from the GOP when he endorsed Obama. The President is doing the right thing here.

BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA HAS ENCOURAGED AN INTOLERABLE 'STATE WITHIN A STATE' SITUATION IN AMERICA, by his support for all sorts of foreign and radical Islamic interests, including appeasement, which in turn encourages terrorism against American and the Western World's way of life. What in hell are BHO's motives? They most certainly do not coincide with looking out for the best interests of The USA or for other free societies. Let's be sure to vote out Obama's Democratic supporters in the upcoming elections, and find ways to press Hussien Obama to resign ASAP!

Well when you think about it that's exactly what the super majority house and senate said to the American people when they "voted", "ram-rodded" , what ever you want to call it, health care down our non-willing to swallow throats. Biden was right, it was a big F#$%^& deal, and we still don't like the after taste. Shame on the Democrats that were involved in this traitorous act. We need the Democratic Party back, out the Socialist/Communist hands.

[We need the Democratic Party back, out the Socialist/Communist hands.] ------------------------------------------------- you obviously don't have a clue what either socialism or commmunism is.

And you obviously have no idea what the Democratic party was.

Oh my, this guy deserves no respect whatsoever. It's a sad commentary on the state of affairs in this country that so many will see this as "brave" and "intelligent". What a shame.

[It's a sad commentary on the state of affairs in this country that so many will see this as "brave" and "intelligent".] ------------------------------------------------------ the sad commentary are your comments on a subject you obviously know nothing about (ie. politics). if he was aligning only on party affiliation you'd all be whining about that.
by tapittwice October 25, 2010 2:52 PM EDT
This was both brave and intelligent!
